“It brought back many memories.  My Uncle Fred played first chair trombone with the Dorseys and my Dad played percussion in the fifth army band in France during WWII.  Sunday afternoons often found my Uncle Fred on the trombone, my Dad on the keys, my Uncle Costie on the sax and clarinet, my Aunt Margaret on the accordion, my Uncle Don on the wash tub base, and my Mother on the bassoon, having a great time, and playing a lot of the tunes that were played last night.
